Magnetoresistive heads? How is veeco positioned for the ongoing switch to MR heads. I understand that MR heads do not need to fly as close to the film surface and have a higher tolerance for misalignment. Is this true? Are veeco's ion beam systems equally important to both MR and TF heads. Will the switch to MR benefit or hinder future sales. Also, does anyone know how veeco's ion beam products hold up against micrion's. Any info would be greatly appreciated. joby
