Tariffs are under litigation, they may be blocked by courts if found unlawful unless Trump can push them through Congress, the Supreme Court or some other avenue. The court battle will continue for now but it is likely that courts will abolish tariffs and demand refunds. So
far a federal court found them unlawful and appeals court judges comments were not encouraging for the current administration.
Gold appears to be celebrating the printing press, a direct result of the administration setting interest rates like they did in the 70-s. Stagflation is here.
