Vkvraju5, re: MediaTek...............................................

Q gave way too much room for MTK to grow in non-premium segments. This should have not happened. This is where they should focus strongly on.

Don't you imagine QCOM has the wherewithal (talent / resources) to compete against MediaTek when that time comes. The diversification strategy is in play now, even more so with the recent announcements re: data center ambitions.

In the meantime- MediaTek serves it purpose--- dismissing the past market monopolization / domination charges.

Notes & Clarifications
  • Qualcomm Revenue Split – FY2024 Qualcomm’s total QCT revenue for FY2024 was $32.6B, broken down as follows:
    • Handsets: $24.86B (˜76% of QCT)
    • Automotive: $2.91B (˜9%)
    • IoT: $4.83B (˜15%) These figures reflect Qualcomm’s fiscal year ending September 29, 2024.
  • Calendar vs. Fiscal Basis
    • Unit Shipments are on a Calendar Year (CY2024) basis, aligned with Counterpoint and Omdia shipment trackers
    • Revenue Figures are on a Fiscal Year (FY2024) basis, ending September 2024 for Qualcomm This mismatch is standard in industry reporting and should be noted when modeling ASP or margin trends.
