Boy you are jaded if you cannot understand that many people are helping Ukraine for no other reason than it is the right thing to do. Those Nordic folks care about the travesty in Ukraine. They empathize with the suffering of the people!

Maybe altruism is just a liberal thing-lol!!?? We sure don't see much of it in the Republican party!

There have always been people who sacrifice and care about the down trodden.

Why do you think white people marched with MLK against segregation?

What do you think was the motivation behind all the protests in the Viet Nam war, or the huge demonstrations across Europe for the Palestinian crises in Gaza.

Do you even understand that being a racist, sexist, homophobe, or hating transgender people is evil?

They want to drain the resources of Russia as that makes them stronger. Better able to stand up to the bully Putin. Yes, they wanted the US to be a major player in NATO but that isn't some kind of altruistic ideology.
