Gerrymandering is, and has always been a partisan majority perquisite. If the Party in power takes advantage of it, the Texas GOP in this instance, tough nookie. Dem States are just as "guilty", if not more so. Court packing and adding additional, questionable one party States to ensure a permanent majority is in no way "saving democracy". If you think it is, it's just further evidence of your mental deterioration.
