100 jobs! Employment numbers set to explode.
It isn't "100 jobs", genius.

I once lived in a part of the country while Bauxite and Aluminum were a core business. Those mines have been shut down, workers out of work, jobs gone, and so have the processing facilities, and so have the Alcoa plants, and others.

Thousands of workers were affected overall, and some of those jobs may well return. In addition, bauxite mining and production generate many different chemical by-products that create jobs on their own.

I don't know how many in any given area will be affected, but five or six thousand jobs could be at stake for mining, smelting operations, and derivative operations.

So, I am happy for my neighbors in my old city of residence.
