Well... We know China supports BEV's all the way. It will be fun watching this area play out. Ultimately China wins. JMHO They want to get totally off of expensive imported fossil fuels. For purely economic reasons. (and pollution!) And with the massive increases in RE there every year (especially solar and storage) they will easily pull it off in just a few decades.
