I did last year. It is not for everyone. When I was young I took big risks and a couple times took a few big losses. Today, I take limited risk as I have done with Tesla.
But the upside potential continues to be substantial. It is a rarity that stocks repeat the kind of gains Tesla had from 2018 forward.
But it is far more rare than a person comes along who literally creates and excels in one new industry after another. A person like that can fail, can drop dead, can give up, or lose interest, and the risk will play out. But otherwise, it is pretty safe bet.
The followers, OTOH, will still be followers.
Musk is the greatest American industrialist since Ford imo. Ultra creative, dreamer, solver of problems, impeccable breadth of knowledge, and driven to accomplishment. And able to lead in multiple domains while remaining creative.
I think it is crazy to be alive at this time and bet against Musk. |
