As the electromagnetic phenomenon known as the galactic current sheet continues to encroach on our solar system, there is a measurable trend of increasing dust around the Sun.

Another trend is starting. The current sheet brings more than dust. It brings debris. 3 interstellar objects so far.
The solar system's density is increasing a wee bit....which might or might not have its own subtle consequences.
The introduction of "foreign objects" also brings a greater probability of terrestrial impacts, either from intruders or native objects jostled around by intruders.
