Trump is fooling you about tariffs, by lying about who is paying for them and what they will achieve. More jobs are being lost than created by the tariffs destroying businesses with increased costs. And for every 1,000 jobs created, probably 75,000 are lost! He likes tariffs for the power it gives him to bully nations, and have a big pot of money he can use to justify tax cuts for the rich. Think about it. Tariffs are a regressive sales tax that affects the poor the most. So what he is really doing is taxing the poor and giving the money to the rich! He knows they are inflationary and not good for the economy, but he doesn't care about that. He only cares about the power they give him. Trump is like Putin, he only craves power and will do things as stupid as Putin did destroying Russia with his invasion of Ukraine.
