Almost everyone sources one or more key component from someone else. The more complicated the item, the longer that chain is likely to be. And at every step, there is a chance that tariffs become a factor.

Yep. I have a metal fabricator buddy that started making these very cool all aluminum jet boats, they are small and nimble, almost sports car like. He has orders for as far as he can see. But, he has shelved the business. Tariffs have blown him out of water, so to speak.

Chump and i-node have partisan maga concepts, but the reality is a bitch.
