This is like the closing scenes from Fatal Attraction (1987) where Dan Gallagher (Michael Douglas) thinks he has killed Alex Forrest (Glenn Close) during a violent confrontation in his home, drowning her in the bathtub.

Only for Glenn Close to arise from the bathtub, grab a knife, and lunge at Dan.

We can only hope that the earlier PR clown show has led to some guardrails being placed on Prasad, but as CBER director, he now has technically regained the power to renew his prior attack on Elevidys even if he does not regain his policy-making role as Chief Medical and Scientific Officer.
