OT- tourism related I'm in a circuitous route East (China) to West (U.S.) the moment... & West to East beginning 8Sept. Maybe odd maybe not but come this Oct/ Nov I'll be visiting/ passing through the mid- East. Begs the question, where? Of course the pyramids in Egypt are on my must- see list. Maybe Lebanon (but be my luck if Israel bombs my ass). I really wanted to venture Iran, but that is guide group- problematic. So, as the compass points East, maybe the small players Qatar, UAE, Oman are worthy of visit. Just curious what others think.
