4:47 AM EDT, 08/11/2025 (MT Newswires) -- Intel ( INTC ) CEO Lip-Bu Tan will visit the White House on Monday after President Donald Trump called for his resignation last week over potential links to Chinese businesses, The Wall Street Journal reported Sunday, citing people familiar with the matter.

Tan is expected to discuss his background with Trump and outline potential areas of cooperation between Intel ( INTC ) and the government, according to the report.

Intel ( INTC ) and the White House did not immediately respond to MT Newswires' request for comment.

Shares of Intel ( INTC ) were up 1.2% in premarket activity Monday.
