the church didn't lock anyone down. church continued without any new rules concerning attendance . i believe the putting on the mass on tv was to allow people who wish not to group up. i remember in canada their was a law against and people were arrested. i have. a poor memory but was an usher in a florida church during covid and we never shut down our doors and had regular sunday and weekday masses. in florida we pretty much didn't experience the rules various places in the north that were implemented. golf was opened up and restaurants opened with outside seating. since canadians couldn't fly downor was it drive? there was a 25% immediate reduction in the winter population.
