The poll numbers regarding tariffs are really not supportive of congressional action on that front. These guys have mid-terms coming up next year. There have been musings about a 2nd reconciliation bill, as they can do one for fiscal 2026 this fall. However, that push is already DOA. I can't imagine a tariff push faring any better.
