You are missing the point. He's saying the same thing I am - internet trolls are winners in modern politics.

AOC hits people on social media. She draws eyeballs and clicks. She engages anger. That's a winning strategy. It's like the Facebook algorithms that supply people's news feeds.

People who run on platforms of traditional democratic ideals and governing for the common good bore the electorate that grew up on video games, and that's pretty much everyone under 55 these days.
