Israel / AIPAC seems to be the main topic in Slider's dugout for the past 2, 3 months. Many points are spot on, many points are embellished, and many points are out and out bullsh*t.
What isn't bullsh*t is that we're no longer verbally OR PHYSICALLY assaulted when addressing the hypothetical Mr. Adams as "Mr." Adams. The 4 years of teachers/school employees sponsoring turning a little boy into a gelding without providing parents' notice are done, or at least criminally identified. The freedom to mask or unmask is more likely to be smog-related than for fear of a Covid virus. Red, white, and blue flags are more prevalent than a black fist flag, or some rainbow flag that appears more as a political statement than pride to be gay or queer. You can wake up to morning news without seeing metro devastation everywhere that is hyped and applauded by the mainstream media.
My head isn't in the sand. Action directed as appropriate, whether to the extreme extension of power to the Israeli lobby, or to the green efforts that sponsored efforts to kill cattle due to methane concerns ... those actions and others are required and should be addressed. BUT, the end of the world was much closer just a short while ago as compared to what we wake up to in present day America. |
