I know some RBC asset managers in the lower 48 but just as friends. Haven't asked recently but formerly it was 2% of assets per year as a fee. Is it still that high up north or have they lowered it? Unless you have a really good manager 0.5%/year is all their worth imo, similar to a pricier ETF fee.
