Hi, Sparkle. Here's another aspect of your question to consider. Right now, buying software is an all or nothing proposition. The wavemeter will allow users to try out software on a rental basis to see if they want it and if they do to keep using it on a rent-to-own basis. For gaming software, this has enormous potential. I don't think that the medium over which a user obtains the software is all that important, because the Wave system can make use of any distribution system. In the future (near future, I hope), we'll see new computers with wavemeters on them coming bundled with wave-enabled software on CD-ROM. This is a very cool technology, and it's not dependent on modem speeds.
Just out of curiosity, how did you hear about this company? Actually, I'd be interested in knowing how everyone on the thread found out about Wave. Personally, I first heard about it from someone who worked at a computer game company. He was interested in it, so I started paying attention.
