Recommendation to China = ignore USA tariffs. Sell Made in China to the top bidder. If Americans don't want ships full of cheap things, the other 7 billion or is it 8 billion do.

Don't waste time with trade negotiations. Don't introduce import taxes in response. Tax imports where it makes sense such as ships full of crude oil, ships full of corn, wheat, rice, etc if it's easy to do without a lot of kleptocrats and corruption.

Also forget about threatening to attack Taiwan and the lovely people there. They'll happily buy from and sell to China if the price is right. They'll invest in China and welcome Made in China investments if they're good for the investors and local yokels.

If Taiwanese declare independence it doesn't matter. They'll still be there. New Zealand declared independence from Australia centuries ago, and England last century. But just like Taiwan is just off the coast of China, New Zealand is off the coast of Australia, albeit a bit further. Guess how much trade and interaction there is with Oz. Huge. In fact I'd say NZ is even more closely linked than when nominally part of New South Wales. Hordes of Kiwis have migrated there. Banks are owned by Oz.

Issuing threats will just encourage the crazed Yanks to gear up for war and think it's a good idea.

Don't stop rare earth or other exports to USA. Huawei was banned in USA. No need to respond. Sell to others.

I charge $1000 for this advice. If they adopt this amazing plan, in whole or part, they should pay me.
