plastic, food substitutes, plastic, chemicals, plastic. Oil companies are pushing AI for a reason, increased power consumption = more sales for them. They are fighting the EPA and support climate change deniers for the same reasons. They have created and sponsor multiple plastic "institutes" that sponsor, promote and lobby for more plastic use.
