K, SNAG, EDV Hands up if you saw this coming. Tinka Resources aka TK has acquired a 5% stake in a Saudi Arabian gold prospect. Anybody with your hands up put them back down, you liar.... Huwaymidan is a 34 sq km Au prospect in the Arabian Shield which includes a number of past-producing mines and has never been subject to modern exploration techniques. The owner of all but 1% of the rest of of it is a Saudi private company. In return for overseeing the first two years of exploration on what looks like a decent prospect,TK is getting a 5% stake and will collect consulting fees for two years, after which they can either continue the arrangement or start contributing funds. This transaction is certainly a distraction from Tinka's main focus on their properties in Peru, but does seem like it could provide a decent return for TK in exchange for not much effort. And perhaps it will lead to more similar opportunities. Message 35229919 Yukon silver explorer Silver North Resources aka SNAG's main focus is on the Haldane property near Hecla's producing Keno Hill mine and the JV with Coeur on Tim, located near Coeur's producing Silvertip mine, but they do have other prospects in the area. Today we get a report on the initial exploration at Veronica, which adjoins Tim and is prospective for similar Ag/Pb/Zn mineralization. We will have to wait until November for assays from the mapping and sampling and trenching, but the SNAG geologists seem very happy about the presence of galena which is a marker for the type of CRD mineralization found on Tim and mined at Silvertip. If SNAG can find what they are expecting on Veronica, bundling it together with Tim would make a nice package to sell to Coeur, given that Tim is actually on the road to the Silvertip mine 10 km away. Message 35231171 FWIW, TD increased their target for west African gold miner Endeavour Mining aka EDV to $52. Saville continues to expect gold to make a new ATH within the next three months, but now he expects Trump's economic policies to extend the PM bull into next year. He also expects silver to make a correction low in August.
