Well it ties in to their isolationist bias. They have this flawed paranoid belief that all other nations are out to screw the USA and treaties are only globalist tools used personally by Soros to bring international communism. So, anything that smacks of international cooperation, like trade or treaties is "bad". Hence their dislike of the Versailles Treaty.
