In order for the Gold consolidation to survive as an Elliottian Triangle, the July low should not be taken out.

The way he presents it, the formation does look like a classic Ascending Triangle (even though, it would probably be better to draw the upper line across the minor tops, without cutting them off).

So, it’s time for Gold to pick a moment - and rally. If it can’t break above this range - it’ll go down.
