Typical number of patients for Clinical Studies? Does anyone know the typical number of patients for clinical E.D. drug studies? I noticed VVUS submitted data on over 1,500 for MUSE and the Viagra NDA filing supposedly contains data on 4,500. From what I can gather on Vasomax, ZONA has one Phase III study with 435 men and a second with 293. Does this seem a little on the low side? Is this why they're continuing with the open label trials? Please save the flames, I have no position in ZONA yet, but to be honest, I find some of the shorters arguments pretty compelling. It seems short interest in January was up to 2.7 million... I'm sure that's not all Asensio and Bill Wexler! Anyway, some of you guys seem very informed about the pharmaceutical industry, so a little guidance on the patient numbers would be appreciated.
