In prior Pixel's, Samsung manufactured the Tensor and provided the Exynos modem.

I thought during negotiations with QCOM, Samsung dangles/threatens the Exynos as a bargaining chip in order to procure fab orders for Snapdragons. I would have thought Samsung would use the same negotiating tactic with Google to keep the Tensor production.

In December, it was widely reported that Mediatek would replace Samsung's Exynos as the Pixel modem. Now - in hindsight - those reports also presaged the Pixel's switch to TSCM manufactured processors. With that switch, Samsung's Exynos leverage evaporates.

However, i still can't find any confirmation as to whose modem the Pixel 10 is using - Mediatek, Sansung (Exynos), or QCOM. Does anyone have confirmation which modem is used in the Pixel 10?

As a related question: is the Pixel modem a type of thin modem? If so, could QCOM's expertise in thin modems be leveraged into capturing the Pixel modem slot? (And, Google and QCOM have a relationship.)

(I did see a report within the last few days noting the huge advance in Tensor's scores, which also noted that the Pixel 10's performance didn't fully capture the improved Tensor processor. That hinted to me that the inferior Exynos modem was still used.)
