I watched the first two episodes of "Alien: Earth" on FX, the prequel series to the Alien movies. It was watchable and faithful to the films (almost too much with so many small symbolic references).

The action is utterly predictable; we have seen it all before on the big screen. The plot has some interesting AI possibilities that I will keep watching (for now) to see how they unfold.

Overall, it's American TV. Not much else to add.
