bill, re: WSJ - Wall Street Journal hackette finally notices Apple’s AI is rubbish

Just did an exhaustive Copilot search of WSJ and Barrons positive articles AAPL v QCOM since 2017.

Only 11 positive QCOM WSJ articles since 2017!!!!!

Copilot Summary >>>>>

Editorial Disparity (Updated)

  • Apple:55 positive articles, 6.11/year
  • Qualcomm: 11 positive articles, 1.22/year
  • Apple receives 5x more positive coverage annually than Qualcomm in WSJ.
This gap is even more pronounced when factoring in editorial tone, headline framing, and placement priority — Apple often leads tech coverage cycles, while Qualcomm is reactive or buried in broader semi narratives.

This isn’t just a volume imbalance — it’s a structural editorial preference
