Lots going on in RFID, if you have not read or listened to the Avery Dennison call, it is good (I said this before). Lots in there about grocery and tagging items. One example is their recyclable inlays with M800. Who wants a plastic container of cookies, muffins, chopped veggies with hummus, etc. Other Impinj partners have new developments on RFID Journal also from professional laundry and microwaveable tags to expansion of facilities, and so on.

Consumer reading is on its way. While this is NFC and from NXP, it addresses the consumer side to read tags on items for DDP. NXP got an NFC chip approved for DPP and it is phone readable. rfidjournal.com

Time for QCOM to let it RAIN in a phone! Pun intended, I am enjoying the share price rise but would like to see volume and some news. It has pretty much been a year since the QCOM statement. I am ready for an update.
