Bonefish,
Trump has told zelensky to stay on the offensive.
Trump is a complete and utter dumbass.

Ukraine can't go on the offensive. They tried in 2023, only to run into RuZZian defensive fortifications and RuZZian aviation, especially their attack helicopters. RuZZia also has the entire front line covered in drone surveillance, just like Ukraine.

Moreover, Ukraine tried their "special military operation" into RuZZia's Kursk oblast. It was successful for a time, but RuZZia finally ejected Ukraine from that area with the help of (a) North Korean reinforcements, and (b) a well-timed intelligence blackout from Hegseth and Noem.

So now Ukraine is remaining on the defensive, hoping to attrit RuZZia's resources and get them to tire out. To this end, Ukraine trades away land and makes RuZZia pay a very heavy price per square kilometer gained.

Try explaining this to Trump, however. He'll send you away because he hates looking like a fool. Like I said before, he has a pathological need to feel like the smartest man in the room.

"Oh yes, Trump, you are right. Ukraine should indeed go on the offensive. nO oNe hAs tHoUgHt oF tHaT bEfOrE. We'll tell Zelensky to give that a shot."

And this is the guy that you MAGA cultists think will be "saving the world"? Give me a break.
