New details on the Ukrainian breakthrough in the Pokrovsk direction: According to Russian pro-government Telegram channels linked to the Ministry of Defense, due to the improper actions of the command of the 5th Motorized Rifle Brigade, the Armed Forces of Ukraine managed to achieve a 4 km breakthrough, as a result of which fighting is now taking place in the center of the village of Myrne… If the offensive develops successfully, a large Russian force — reportedly more than 1,000 soldiers — could face the threat of encirclement, and about 130 km² of territory could be regained, which would almost completely neutralize Russia’s earlier gains and secure the city of Pokrovsk from the eastern flank.
