Elroy -- ". . . it's a great deal for Intel . . ." It surely is, but why? Will Intel now start giving generously to some political campaign funds? At the start of the Great Recession, the administration allowed a well established investment firm that had purchased risky, inflated home mortgages to go broke. As a result of its long standing culture, addicted to the furtherance of an outmoded processor design, Intel simply can't cut the mustard. Wouldn't have been better this time around to buy TSMC shares?
