ps It's Qualcomm diversification efforts that are most affected by this investment. In this area, it will be most interesting to see the arrangements that are now on the table as to Intel's 14A processes along with their Ohio plant. Much more money has to be invested on these fronts for any kind of plan B to be effective.

This story has only just begun and it's likely still not well-thought-out.
