Another company that I have been following and trading is UEC, which also produces uranium in the U.S. It is trading at a relatively high share price at this time. IMO this area of the market is one that has been heavily shorted in the past, but more investors (and traders) are paying more attention to both of these companies.

From Microsoft Copiiolet -

…..both Energy Fuels Inc. (UUUU) and Uranium Energy Corp. (UEC) are actively producing uranium in the United States as of 2025:

---

Energy Fuels Inc. (UUUU)

• Production Sites:• White Mesa Mill (Utah): The only fully licensed and operating conventional uranium mill in the U.S
• Pinyon Plain Mine (Arizona): Achieved record monthly production in April 2025 with 151,400 pounds of U3O8
• Nichols Ranch ISR Facility (Wyoming): Being prepared for future production

• Output:• UUUU has consistently led U.S. uranium production, accounting for about two-thirds of domestic output since 2017
• The company is also expanding into rare earth elements and medical isotopes at White Mesa

---

Uranium Energy Corp. (UEC)

• Production Sites:• Christensen Ranch ISR Mine & Irigaray CPP (Wyoming): Recently began drying and drumming uranium concentrates
• Burke Hollow ISR Mine (Texas): Under active development with infrastructure buildout underway
• Sweetwater Plant (Wyoming): Acquired from Rio Tinto, licensed for both conventional ore and ISR resin processing

• Output:• UEC is scaling up production and aims to become the largest licensed uranium producer in the U.S., with over 12 million pounds of annual capacity
• The company sold 600,000 pounds of U3O8 in Q2 2025 at $82.92/lb from its physical inventory

---

Both companies are strategically positioned to benefit from U.S. efforts to rebuild a domestic nuclear fuel supply chain and reduce reliance on foreign uranium sources. If you’re tracking uranium equities or policy impacts, these two are definitely worth watching.
