I try to avoid the Emergency clinic, in fact all of hospital, as much as possible.
The last time I went to Emergency, about 50 years ago, was on New Years eve, if my memory serves. After some excessive drinking I did several forward somersaults one after the other, in the park, and on standing up fell flat on my face - like the usual dizziness after rotation, but about a horizontal rather than a vertical axis. Broken collarbone. It wasn't fun having to wait a couple of hours to be seen - and then there was nothing they could do except give me a sling, I think.
