Exclusive-Stellantis shelves Level 3 driver-assistance program as it downscales software ambitions, sources say | MarketScreener share.google

From Google AI: Qualcomm's Snapdragon Ride platform is designed to support Level 3 ADAS and is actively being developed in partnership with automakers like BMW and Stellantis to deliver systems that will eventually feature Level 3 capabilities, with commercial availability expected around the 2025 timeframe and beyond.

Also from Google AI: Qualcomm's Snapdragon Ride Platform provides solutions that support Level 2 (L2) and even more advanced Level 2+ (L2+) ADAS features. These solutions include the necessary hardware, software, and development tools for automakers to integrate into their vehicles.

Also from Google AI: Stellantis currently deploys Level 2 and Level 2+ Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) in some of its vehicles. The Level 2 system is branded as Hands-Free Active Driving Assist.

Also from Google AI: While Stellantis uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon Digital Chassis for infotainment and cockpit functions, it does not currently deploy Level 2 ADAS from Qualcomm. Stellantis is taking a multi-partner approach to developing its STLA AutoDrive ADAS platform and relies on other partnerships for its autonomous driving technology.

Impact on QCOM, anyone? Thoughts?
