the issue was they were a year or two late in introducing it. What should have happened is they took another 2-3 years testing, running experiments, etc and run your low risk process in parallel. but they bid all in on a pair of twos..

that started the demise, as they then had everyone in panic mode trying to fix it up and meet the wild promises they had to the CEO. But the CEO did not know how to leverage risk. So they doubled down on BS (KZ), then tried again the next two years, tripled down on Gelsigner.

Finally LBT came in and said stop the BS.

we will see.
