Canadians are already disadvantaged by the exchange rate beween our currencies. Putting tariffs on US imports would only result in making Canadians pay even more. Many Canadians are already at within $200/month of disposable income. Carney can't apply tariffs on imports because it would bankrupt many Canadian consumerss.
