With the government having taken stakes in two major American corporations and talk of more, including defense contractors, the corporatism part is very healthy.
The naming and shaming, investigations and eventual show trials of his political enemies is underway.. If his Brownshirts don't kill them first, that is.
The centralization of all federal, state and local data is under way. That data is already being mined to go after political opponents, looks like green card holders are also on the menu. Given the naming and shaming aspect, even if nothing can be proven, it isn't possible to be squeaky clean enough that aspersions cannot be cast. Add in what AI can actually do, and everyone is now a hostage. When they can declare you dead with a single database entry, any attention is potentially fatal.
Need I mention ICE and its network of concentration camps, along with internal transportation infrastructure?
