It all depends on to whom you are going to pay the fee for services. Surely, Cook has his head focused tightly upon those dollars. AI services beyond answers are still rather obscure too.

What we don't know today is how all these new answer machines are going to be differentiated.

Having subject matter expertise for those practicing in specialized areas is easy to see (ie Thomson Law, Bloomberg Business, Medical Compendiums, etc).

Generic models compete with Google. Google has to be the most at risk search player Their offering is powered by ads and sponsored links. I don't believe any AI player has gone this route yet.

I also haven't seen any new business models forthcoming for AI other than subscription. How about you?

In most cases AI just accents what's being already done today. It just does it better as in more efficient and effective.
