Perhaps Bob, and you certainly know more about motors than seemingly anyone else on these boards…however, the concept of a vehicle with a motor that is powered by the Sun or light has appeal on many levels. But hey I’m a dreamer and can see us zipping around in air cars…no traffic, smooth rides! I think the EV technology has helped the world get there. I have ridden in a Tesla Y for approximately 70 miles through a city. The car literally drove itself. The owner only touched the steering wheel once when backing from a long driveway. The technology is amazing. It is good to have competitive options no matter ulterior underlying or political motives…no? Can you imagine the next 100 years in transportation? WOW! 7
