If it's true.... View spent a billion or two dollars essentially on awareness that this kind of glass exists. The sunroofs help too. Supposedly Gauzy can make 1.8 meter film. If they could make it grey or black and also make it affordable we might have a shot. Demand drives supply and moves the clearing price to the right. Personally, I have zero confidence in Hanamac I mean Retrowal. I have more confidence that Gauzy can diversify their arch offering to include SPD and get the price down. However, I am concerned that Gauzy needs to meet the revenue numbers this year as they are headed to a cash starved position in what needs to be a high cash flow growth phase. I give some credence to backlog growth given how often Israeli airspace was closed. It's impossible for non Israelis to appreciate how disruptive the war has been in terms of reservist call ups and everything else. This relies on Gauzy. Joe is a patent attorney and RFI is a tiny IP shell company and presumably IF this works out, his role is to make sure royalties get paid.
