Trump can continue to “negotiate” until the cows come home. It no longer matters. Europe has finally found its footing and has made it clear that none of Putin’s “peace conditions” are acceptable. Russia will be defeated; not on the battlefield but through bankruptcy. Putin knows this which is why he’ll be spending a week in China most likely to beg for financial support. He will fail. China wants no part of Putin but certainly would love to have parts of the oil and gas rich Russia.
