I'd rather have a couple fancy guns on me than a Glock in every room.....

unless of course we get the Zombie apocalypse......then Glock it is.

I don't use plastic since I've seen case head separations send plastic airborne.

Not a fan of the clit type safe on these newer plastic sidearms.

M&P does have a skeletonized frame that helps and can be had with a safety.

my "church" gun is Kahr k40 or k9 but even when chambered the trigger is long double action.

And they are stainless and won't splode with hot ammo.

EDC is 7 round Ruger gp100. 1st 2 rounds are 125 HP. next 5 are heavy penetrators. Two speed strips and one speed loader in pocket.

Danger zone is 1911 w/ cz75 back up.

Travel weapon in car as one might have to get through a car door....is 4" .44 redhawk.

Around the house Mossberg 590 stuffed with buck.

After that....match grade 5.56, then 308 then 25/06 for those hard to reach places.

Long guns must be dimes at 100, eggs at 300, softballs at 500, basketballs after that.

I think of them as nasty ass golf clubs that have use at different ranges for different purposes.
