Maybe. But.....how about this? I was thinking a good application for AI would be that every person once a year gets a full body MRI scan, as detailed as the MRI technology allows.
Then you run the person's scan through some AI developed system to determine what illnesses / cancers / health issues the person has, or is likely to have over the next few years, based on the person's scan and the AI's database of all the people in the world that have A) had this type of scan, and B) have (or are developing) some illness.
That sounds like something AI can do, and would be amazingly useful.
And, get this! If some company works out how to do a full body MRI using a cylidrical device about the size of a cell phone, like you just move the device the length of the body while holding it six inches away from the body, well, then.....it's just like Star Trek medical services!
