I don't how much the MRI in a box costs. But for basic blood tests (CMP & CBC), the costs can be reasonable cost.sidecarhealth.com cost.sidecarhealth.com Immunoassays cost more, as do more exotic tests. Quest has reasonable prices, and apparently don't require a doctor's order. questhealth.com And they have collection locations everywhere with experienced phlebotomists. The capital investment for the machines that run those tests is considerable. Since the Theranos scheme didn't work out, there's not going to be stat results at the local CVS. Point of care testing isn't usually that reliable, especially when performed by amateurs.
