ProxyMed, Inc. and Kinetra Sign Network Services Agreement

FT. LAUDERDALE, Fla., Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- ProxyMed, Inc. PILL , a healthcare information technology company, announced today it has finalized an agreement with Kinetra, formerly IMS MEDACOM(R) Networks. Under the terms of the agreement, ProxyMed will connect its on-line healthcare network, ProxyNet(TM) to Kinetra's network, enabling Kinetra's physician clients to transmit prescription orders and receive refill requests with ProxyMed's subscribing pharmacies through ProxyNet.
Kinetra is a leading provider of health information networks to hospitals and integrated delivery systems. Its nationwide networks provide clinical and administrative transaction processing to more than 70,000 physicians.
