Today, the lives of many Russians will completely change due to the implementation of a whole package of new laws:

— Advertising VPNs is prohibited, with fines up to 500,000 rubles.
— Any advertising on Instagram is banned, with fines up to 500,000 rubles.
— Banks are tightening control over cash withdrawals at ATMs. Transactions will be blocked if deemed suspicious.
— Lighters will only be sold with a passport. Violators face fines up to 2 million rubles.
— State fees for motorists will increase by up to 300%, and driver's licenses will cost twice as much.
— Russians with mental disorders, autism, and eye diseases will be prohibited from driving.
— Drivers will be fined up to 100,000 rubles for unsafe transportation of children: only car seats are allowed, while straps, adapters, and frameless seats are banned.
— Russians will lose their driver's licenses for refusing to yield to vehicles of law enforcement and officials with flashing lights.
— Drivers refusing medical testing for alcohol and drugs will be fined 45,000 rubles or lose their licenses for up to 2 years.
— Russians will start losing their dacha plots for garbage, weeds, and neglect.
— Dacha owners will no longer be allowed to run businesses on their plots. Cafes, hostels, warehouses, workshops, car services, shops, and other facilities are prohibited.
— Russians will now be treated by mid-level medical staff without higher education. Feldshers and midwives will be able to replace therapists, pediatricians, and gynecologists.
— Children from age 6 will begin to be checked for their ability to have children.
— Pharmacists will be fined 100,000–200,000 rubles if they do not offer cheaper drug alternatives.
— Employers are prohibited from cutting bonuses by more than 20% of the salary.
— Vacation pay will be calculated differently. Now, the average daily wage must be multiplied by the average number of working days in a month. Quarterly and annual bonuses will also be taken into account. Payments will increase for most Russians.
— Russians with frozen accounts will have their mobile service blocked.
— Fines up to 50,000 rubles will be imposed for transferring SIM cards to third parties.
— Russians will be able to block spam calls and allow calls only from certain companies.
— The state messenger MAX and RuStore are mandatory for pre-installation on all new smartphones, including iPhones.
— English language classes in grades 5–7 have been reduced to 2 hours per week.
— Schoolchildren will be forced to learn songs by Shaman, Gazmanov, and Maydanov in music lessons.
— Study of human rights and freedoms has been reduced in favor of a course on sacred Russia and traditional values. Social studies have been completely removed from the curriculum for grades 6–7, and reduced from 136 to 68 hours in grades 8–9.
— Migrants in Moscow and the Moscow region will be required to register in a special mobile app that will track their geolocation.
