Today, the lives of many Russians will completely change due to the implementation of a whole package of new laws: — Advertising VPNs is prohibited, with fines up to 500,000 rubles. — Any advertising on Instagram is banned, with fines up to 500,000 rubles. — Banks are tightening control over cash withdrawals at ATMs. Transactions will be blocked if deemed suspicious. — Lighters will only be sold with a passport. Violators face fines up to 2 million rubles. — State fees for motorists will increase by up to 300%, and driver's licenses will cost twice as much. — Russians with mental disorders, autism, and eye diseases will be prohibited from driving. — Drivers will be fined up to 100,000 rubles for unsafe transportation of children: only car seats are allowed, while straps, adapters, and frameless seats are banned. — Russians will lose their driver's licenses for refusing to yield to vehicles of law enforcement and officials with flashing lights. — Drivers refusing medical testing for alcohol and drugs will be fined 45,000 rubles or lose their licenses for up to 2 years. — Russians will start losing their dacha plots for garbage, weeds, and neglect. — Dacha owners will no longer be allowed to run businesses on their plots.
