a book by Marty Zweig, maybe around the year 2000. He shared an observation that when markets are positive on the day prior to a national holiday, that is a good sign. But, if the markets are negative - short them. It’s a serious bearish signal.
Yep. The warning was right. Negative Friday was an appropriate introduction to what we see today.

Not all is red - Gold eventually broke out - and running beautifully. Looks like gold miners are doing even better.
